Friday was a wash out – rain, rain and more rain – we called it quits after an hour.  It was a trade off between missing the mileage or risking flu.  Saturday took us from Rosebank to Northern Farms, around Northern Farms and back – about 100km’s and just over 6 hours.  Where we could we stayed off road. I went on to do a kind of duathlon which involved 2 hours of shopping with my wife.  Mike recons that was worth at least another 1.5km’s.  I think more.

Today we went hill hunting, we clocked Munro Drive, Westcliff ridge, Melville Koppies, Alberts Farm and Northcliff water tower – about 45km’s or so.  Tomorrow we plan to ride to Hartebeespoort Dam where we get collected (or not) – either way looking to do another 100km’s or so.
